1/4 c Margarine
6 tb Granulated sugar
1 Egg large
2 tb Apple juice
4 1/2 oz Quick oats
4 1/2 oz Oat bran
3/4 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1/4 ts Salt
1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray 2 baking sheets with nonstick cooking
spray set aside. 2. In large bowl, with electric mi er on high speed, beat margarine and
sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and apple juice beat until blended. 3. In medium bowl, combine oats, oat bran, baking powder, cinnamon and
salt. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients beat until combined. 4. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls 2 apart onto prepared sheets, making 24
cookies. Flatten with spatula. Bake 12 15 minutes, until lightly browned. Cool on rack. Store in airtight container. Each serving (2 cookies) provides: 1 fat, 1 bread, 35 optional calories. Per serving: 135 calories. Source: Weight Watcher magazine, May 1992.
