1 lb Ground chuck
1 Med onion, chopped
1/2 md Green pepper (optional)
16 cn Tomato sauce
16 cn Tomatos, drained and
Smooshed 4 cl Garlic
1 md Onion, chopped (again)
1 Bay leaf
Lots oregano, basil, Marjoram Dashes Worcestershire Dash tobasco or cayenne Splash red wine Lots parmesan 8 oz Mushrooms, halved and amp sauteed
4 oz Macaroni, cooked al dente
6 Slices American cheese
Sprinkles chives Contributed to the echo by: Debra Heng POOR MAN'S LASAGNE Brown beef, onion and green pepper drain. Add everything but last 3 ingredients. Simmer to blend flavors for 1/2 hour. Add macaroni to pot and stir. Spoon into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Top with cheese. Bake at 375 until cheese is bubbly, about 10 15 mins. Sprinkle with chives and serve with garlic bread.

1 Jar raw oysters (10 oz.) 4 Tbsp. cracker crumbs 2 Tbsp. margarine 1 Tbsp. lemon juice salt and pepper to taste Wash and drain oysters. Roll in cracker crumbs. Lay on a lightly oiled cookie sheet. Melt margarine add lemon juice. Spoon mi ture on top of each oyster. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Broil 6 to 10 minutes or until browned. Turn oysters spoon on remaining margarine mi ture. Season and complete the broiling. One serving (4 oysters) may be e changed for 2/3 bread e change, 2 meats and 2 fat e changes or 11 grams carbohydrate, 16 grams protein and 17 grams fa...
