1/2 head cabbage chopped
1 small onion chopped
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
buttered bread crumbs
Cook cabbage and onion in boiling, salted water until tender. Drain well. Melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour until blended. Slowly stir in milk, whisking over medium heat until thick and smooth. Add cheese and stir until melted. Combine cheese sauce with cabbage mi ture. Pour into a casserold dish. Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 325 for 20 minutes, until lightly browned and bubbly.

1 c Dried tart cherries 4 c Apple 1 c Granulated sugar 1/4 c All purpose flour 1/2 ts Ground cinnamon 1 tb Butter or margarine Two crust pie pastry 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. 2. In a large mi ing bowl, combine cherries and apple slices. 3. In a small bowl, stir together sugar, flour and cinnamon. Pour over fruit mi ture toss to blend. Let stand 15 minutes. 4. Turn fruit mi ture into pastry lined 9 inch pie pan dot with butter. Cover with top crust which has slits cut in it seal and flute. 5. Bake in a preheated 425 degree F. oven 40 to 50 minutes, or ...
