10 c Thinly sliced Yukon potatoes
1 cn Cream of mushroom soup
10 1/2 ounce can 1/4 c Finely chopped onion
1 c Milk
1 Stick butter or margarine
melted 2 c Grated cheddar cheese
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Pepper
Spread half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of a greased baking dish. In a medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients (e cept potatoes) and pour half the mi ture over the first layer of potatoes. Repeat layers of potatoes and mi ture. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 30 to 45 minutes longer.

Servings: 12 2 1/4 c unbleached flour 1/4 c sugar 3/4 t baking soda 1/4 t salt 1 large egg 3/4 c buttermilk 1/4 c vegetable oil 1 c cranberry 1/2 c sugar Sift together flour, 1/4 cup sugar, baking soda and salt into bowl. Combine egg, butter/sour milk and oil in small bowl blend well. Add all at once to dry ingredients, stirring just enough to moisten. Combine cranberries and 1/2 cup sugar stir into batter. Spoon batter into greased 2 1/2 inch muffin pan cups, filling 2/3rds full. Bake in 400 degrees F. oven 20 minutes or until golden brow. Serve hot...
