2 1/4 cups Pillsbury's Best All Purpose Flour sifted
3/4 cup confectioners' sugar sifted
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter
1 teaspoon French's Almond E tract
1 cup Funsten's Blanched Almonds ground/finely choppe

BAKE at 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. MAKES about 2 dozen. Sift together flour, confectioners' sugar, and salt. Cream butter. Blend in the dry ingredients mi thoroughly. Stir in almond e tract and ground or finely chopped blanched almonds. If desired, chill for easier handling. Shape dough into balls, using rounded teaspoonful for each. Place on ungreased baking sheets flatten into circles about 1/2 inch thick. Flute edges to form scallops. Bake in slow oven (325 degrees) 20 to 25 minutes until light golden brown. Remove from baking sheets immediately cool. For use with Pillsbury's Best Self Rising Flour, omit salt.

6 ea Potatoes Large 1 Boiling Water 1/2 ts Salt 1 ea Onion Medium, Minced 3 tb Vinegar 1/2 ts Mustard Prepared 1 ts Sugar 2 ts Dillseed Potatoes should be peeled and quartered. In medium saucepan cook potatoes in boiling salted water until tender. Drain, reserving 3/4 cup of potato water. Dice potatoes. Add oil and minced onion toss gently. In small saucepan bring the 3/4 cup potato water to a boil pour over potatoes and onion. Keep at room temperature for 2 to 3 hours. Stir in vinegar, mustard, sugar, and dillseed.
