1 c unbleached all purpose
: flour 1 3/4 c sugar
1/2 ts salt
4 oz unsweetened chocolate
1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
4 eggs
1/4 c milk
2 ts vanilla e tract
1 c chopped walnuts
1 c chopped sweet cherries
Preheat oven to 300. Stir together flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. In a heavy bottomed saucepan, melt chocolate and butter together over low heat, stirring often. Lightly beat eggs with milk and vanilla. Add egg mi ture, melted chocolate and butter mi ture to flour. Stir until smooth. Stir in walnuts and cherries along with any cherry juice. Pour into a large greased 9 inch square baking pan. Bake about 1 hour and 5 minutes.
